Towing
This is Sarah Burgess of BMI Racing. She competes in the Lucas Off-Road series. We loaned the team a Ford F-150 with the EcoBoost V6 to tow her race truck from the track. Sarah's ProLite race truck weighs just over 3,000 lbs.The enclosed trailer is another 3,000 lbs. Together, the 6,000 lbs payload is a walk in the park for the Ford F-150. The team can travel in comfort thanks to ample space inside the SuperCrew cab. The 2015 Ford F-150 not only looks good, it's also one of the best towing rigs around, whether you're pulling horses or even a race car.

Safety
The 2015 Ford F-150 features a number of active and passive safety technologies. In SuperCrew trims, Ford introduces Inflatable safety belts. These help distribute crash force across the torso of second-row passengers. Driver and passenger front and side seat airbags are standard. The optional rear-view camera gives you a clear view of objects approaching from behind. This ties into the available blind-spot information system to provide cross-traffic alerts. Once on your way, the F-150 continues to provide class-leading safety with Curve Control, a system that works with Roll Stability Control to slow the vehicle when going too fast on a curve.Â
